Join the Escarpment Bird Club for its Raptor Course and Field Identity Workshop weekend at Berg-en-Dal Camp in the Kruger National Park with well known ecologist and birding guru Duncan McKenzie.
The program starts with us convening at Berg-en-Dal on Friday 26 February, or Saturday morning before 09h00, for the full-day course on Saturday 27 February, followed by a long Sunday morning field identity trip on 10-seater game vehicles, to practice what you have learnt aided by guides in each vehicle.
There are various ways in which you can participate in the Workshop – by:
1 – Reserving our pre-booked discounted accommodation package for two nights (per person sharing), and the course and field trip – R2570 per person;
2 – Reserving our pre-booked discounted accommodation package for one night (per person sharing), and the course and field trip – R1875 per person;
3 – Attending only the course as a day tripper – R500 per person;

We are limiting numbers for the field trip to 28 (unless demand for a full fourth vehicle arises) and as we already have 20 indicated bookings – only a further 8 can be accommodated.
We can however accommodate up to 40 for the lectures.
We have secured 10 x three-sleeper self- catering units for both nights. No meals are to be provided, save for teas and biscuits during the course. All meals, snacks and drinks for the field trip must be catered for by delegates.
